Whether self-publishing or preparing a manuscript for submission to an agent, Dave O’Hagan offers a full reading, proofreading and copy editing service for authors.
Comment and advice can be given on manuscripts of both short stories and novel length work. Proofreading is carried out with careful and thorough reading of the written text combined with annotation of the document with professionally-recognised proofreading symbols so that authors can make changes and amendments to ensure their work contains no embarrassing misspellings or typographic errors before submission.
Copy editing services include a full proofreading service followed by the preparation of a first proof prior to print, an essential stage when self-publishing.
Documents can be accepted on printed paper or in electronic form including MS Word and Acrobat PDF.
